Job Details

Tasks:

- prepare ingredients and things needed before cooking

- cook complete meals or individual dishes

- maintain stocks inventory and perform basic storing principle: FIFO (First In First Out)

- clean and sanitize kitchen area and workstation

- oversee the kitchen operations

- prepare the sushi rice, nori seaweed sheets, fish or vegetable and any other fillings then assemble the sushi and cook it according to the customer’s preference.

Terms of Employment: Indeterminate/Permanent, Full-time, Non-seasonal

Wage: $17.86 per hour

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Skills Requirements

Education: secondary school is usually required.

Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year cooking experience is required. Food Safety Certificate is a must.
