Job Description

Westwood Finishing & Flooring Ltd. is looking for 2 Carpenter to join its team.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks

•  Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

Salary: $ 37.00 per hour

Schedule: 35-40 hours/week

Education: High School Certificate or above

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Language: English

Start Date: As soon as possible

Working conditions: Morning, Day, Overtime, dusty, confined spaces

Work Location:   PORT COQUITLAM BC and lower mainland BC
