Ian Roofing Ltd. is seeking a reliable, hardworking Roofer/Shingler to join our team in Surrey, BC. The successful candidate will install, repair, and replace roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, or replace asphalt shingles and other roofing materials
Remove old roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces
Install underlayment and waterproofing materials
Measure and cut roofing materials to fit
Inspect roofs for damage and leaks
Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment
Work at heights and in various weather conditions
Requirements
Previous experience as a roofer or shingler is an asset
Ability to work at heights
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
Knowledge of roofing tools and safety practices
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team
Basic English communication skills
