Actfast Restoration & Repairs LTD. is seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our team in Surrey, BC and Lowermainland. The successful candidate will perform a variety of carpentry tasks related to building restoration, repair, and construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities
Tasks
- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
- Survey building locations and levels
- Instruct apprentices
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
