Duties:
·
Set up welding machines based
on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification
·
Assemble, align, and fasten
brass, aluminum, and stainless-steel parts for welding
·
Weld the metal components or
parts using a MIG and/or TIG process
·
Follow and help maintain
Welding Procedure Specifications
·
Read, interpret, and follow
blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
·
Examine welded products to
ensure they meet structural and quality standards, as well as specifications
·
Follow all safety rules and
quality standards
Education: College
Diploma OR High School with Welder Certificate
Experience: On-the-job training
provided
Wage rate: 36 per hour for 30 hours per
week
