Job Title: Truck Driver (NOC: 73300)

Salary: $37 CAD/ hour for 40 hrs/ week

Job Requirements:

Language

·      English

 

Education:

·      Completion of secondary education.

 

Experience:

·      At least 3-5 years working as truck driver or related field.

 

Duties:

 

·      Operate a heavy truck to transport packaged goods

·      Ensure timely and safe delivery of loads.

·      Load and unload packaging materials or finished goods using lifting equipment or by hand

·      Ensure goods are properly secured to avoid damage during transit.

·      Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

·      Report any mechanical issues promptly for repair.

·      Complete shipping paperwork, manifests, and logbooks

·      Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers as needed.

·      Provide delivery updates or report delays or incidents.

 

Work Conditions and Physical Abilities

·      Strong math skills

·      Work under pressure

·      Repetitive tasks

·      Physically fit, able to lift 50lbs

·      Fast-paced environment

·      Attention to details
